Salvo Technologies Names Brian Rogers to Advisory Board

Seminole, FL—Salvo Technologies Inc., a leading technology-based private equity group, today announced the addition of Brian Rogers to its corporate advisory board. Mr. Rogers has over 18 years of experience in optical and electrical design, with particular application in analytic instrumentation. His insight and understanding of these product lines will aid Salvo Technologies in its strategy of diversifying its product portfolio. Specifically, his experience with sensors and imaging platforms will guide the Salvo Technologies product development cycle. In 2006, Mr. Rogers founded Sandhouse Design, which developed components for analytical instrumentation, with a focus on UV LEDs and infrared spectrometers. In just over three years, he grew company revenues to more than $1 million annually. In May of 2010, Mr. Rogers completed a successful equity sale of Sandhouse Design to Ocean Optics Inc. He is currently president of ShadowCaster LED lighting, which produces high-brightness LED lighting and control products for the marine and architectural markets. “Brian brings years of experience designing and manufacturing high end analytical instrumentation,” said Patrick Bass, Executive Vice President of Salvo Technologies. “He will help us along our technology roadmap, identifying where risks could lurk and help Salvo more quickly get new products in the hands of our customers that are tailored to their needs.”
