Patrick Bass Joins Salvo Technologies Advisory Board

Seminole, FL—Salvo Technologies Inc., a leading technology-based private equity group, today announced the addition of Patrick Bass to its corporate advisory board. Mr. Bass will now join Salvo Technologies full time in his role as executive vice president. The addition will allow Salvo Technologies to benefit from his years of experience in manufacturing excellence, as well as his knowledge of the technical aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Bass was previously director at Atkore International Inc., where he was responsible for new product development, technical due diligence on mergers and acquisitions, and for transitioning newly acquired groups into the Atkore production system. He joined the company in 2007, beginning as a senior process engineer, rising to the position of lead coating designer for new product introductions before being appointed Atkore production systems manager. Prior to that position, he was new business manager at IIVI Inc., a developer of solid state laser systems and components for the military. In addition, Mr. Bass spent eight years at Transitions Optical Inc., where he was the lean manufacturing manager. He is a certified master black belt and lean sensei with a strong operations and quality background. His experience complements the Salvo Technologies focus on top to bottom quality. He played an instrumental role in the company’s recent AS9100 qualification. “We’re very excited to have Patrick on board full time,” said board member Bob Schwerin. “He understands the markets, the technologies involved, and most of all how to get people working together to make the business grow. At Salvo Technologies, we’re ready to take it to the next level, and bringing Patrick in full time was a key to making that happen.”
